Aircraft Technicians (A&P, Avionics, Structures, Exterior Finishers), Quality Inspectors, Operations Leaders and Students are welcome to join us at our OPEN HOUSE. In your role, you will:
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
• Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop and or hangar positions
• Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
• Operate ground support equipment as required
• Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed
• Assist other maintenance disciplines as needed
• Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft as needed
• Assist with engine removal / installation as needed
• Assist with aircraft component repair as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- You have basic knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, diagrams, and manuals
- You have basic knowledge of technical and/or regulatory manuals necessary to perform job
- You have basic knowledge of the differences between repair station, developmental and production engineering, and corresponding paperwork
- You have basic knowledge of maintenance manuals, parts catalog, and applicable FAA documents
- You have basic knowledge in fabrication of sheet metal and/or composite components and assemblies, aircraft parts and ground support equipment per engineering drawings, sketches, advance designs, specifications and/or verbal instructions
- You have basic knowledge of hand tools
- You have the ability to communicate in both written and verbal form on individual status and/or aircraft task status
- You have the ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
- You have prior aircraft maintenance experience (preferred)
- You have an Aircraft license (preferred)
- You have a Powerplant license (preferred)
- You are Non Aircraft Tug Operator Qualified (preferred)
- You are Ground Support Equipment Operator Qualified (preferred)
