In your role, you will:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hanger positions
- Comply with environmental health / safety policies / procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all work in a safe and timely manner
- Receive / visually inspect all incoming and outgoing materials for physical damage (BAS Only.
- Distribute parts, materials, tools and ground support equipment with regard to aircraft delivery schedules. May assist in ordering parts if required (BAS only)
- Verify and reconcile appropriate documentation on incoming and outgoing parts and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory (via cycle counts, perpetual, work-in-progress) using computerized / manual systems to include purchased parts, manufactured parts, materials, tools, etc.
- Assist in loading / unloading shipmentsTransport and stock materials from one location to another as required throughout the facilityProvide verbal or written turnovers for oncoming shifts
- Issue hand tools, machine tools, dies and / or rental equipment to authorized personnel
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Execute timely Aircraft-On-the-Ground (AOG) purchase orders and Repair Station Work Orders
- Ensure proper storage and packaging of all items for shipment per requirements (i.e., export compliance, hazmat shipping, parts protections and A/C schedule)
- Proper handling of Customer Owned Property (Green tag units - Commercial only)
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Core Processing
- Deliveries as needed to support base
- Train, coach and support other employees
QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Typically two 0 - 2 years experience in one of the following:
- Warehouse
- Shipping / Receiving
- Tool Crib
- Valid Driver's License
- Customer Service Experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Basic knowledge of SAP (or Syteline for Commercial)
- Previous experience in the aviation industry
- Previous experience in material handling
- Previous Forklift qualified
- Export shipping experience
- Hazmat Certification
