Aon Is Looking for an Associate Broker As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aviation practice business group within Aon Risk Solutions in Dallas, TX.  As an Associate Broker, you will report directly to the Dallas Aviation Office Manager.Aon’s Global Aviation Specialty Practice is structured to deliver global capabilities locally.  As the world’s leading broker, and as experts in aviation coverages and market alternatives, Aon has unparalleled access to world insurance markets and new sources of capital, enabling us to design optimal insurance and risk management programs.  We work closely with various clients – aircraft owners and operators, product manufacturers, airlines, and airports, as well as other firms with aviation exposures– to interpret their needs, using a data-driven approach and technology that collects and analyzes global market data in real time, to support carrier selection and negotiation.    Your Impact as an Associate BrokerJob Responsibilities:Handling policy & coverage related questions from staff issuing Certificates of InsuranceInvestigating accounting queries as requiredAttending internal pre-renewal strategy meetings with Broker, as requiredGathering new and renewal documentation including schedules, and application formsGenerating binder documentation & expiring schedules, to be provided to the BrokerSupporting Brokers with general day-to-day client servicingIn consultation with the broker, reviewing and requesting corrections to policy documents from Insurer and follow up for timely delivery of correct policy documents.  Engaging the broker if insurers are not delivering in accordance with our service standardsAssisting in the creation of submissions for all accounts.  Ensuring submission quality to Aon Standards, including details of any midterm changes, new operations, exposure schedules, claims summaries, etc. Calculating complex premium, fees, adjustments and taxes and retain a copy in the file.Requesting assistance from the Broker if unclear on how to proceed. Ensuring that documents are forwarded to Insurer(s) with a detailed letter explaining all changes or enclosuresBacking-up and supporting the Broker in the tracking of outstanding renewal documents and assisting with follow up with insurers for timely delivery of policy documents/endorsementsChecking insurer policies within 30 days of the date received from the carrierPerforming other duties as assigned   You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseQualifications Required: Bachelor's degree with strong analytical skillsHIGH attention to detailGood sales skills or desire and aptitude to quickly develop effective sales techniquesCommitted to delivering the highest level of customer service and qualityProficient in Microsoft Office and AccessExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to organize a wide range of tasks from various sources and prioritize workload to meet deadlinesExcellent interpersonal skillsGoal oriented and highly motivated in achieving resultsGood presentation skillsInterest in pursuing self-development coursesAbility to work independently or within a team-based environmentAbility to travel when requiredHow we support our colleagues  In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
