**Sign-On or Relocation Bonus Available**ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Avionics Software Engineer skilled in software development for embedded avionic engine and flight control systems.  The position will focus on the development and test of avionic C code within environments such as Visual Studio and gcc. The project requires minor Windows Based tool development and LINUX based embedded software development.  Requirements are tracked in excel and ultimately DOORS system.  Software code and test is configuration managed in Razor or Synergy.  The position will include a good mix of requirements review, software development, simulation testing, and system level testing in avionic lab environment. Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with a minimum 2 years’ related experienceMust be a U.S. CitizenSoftware experience with command line C code developmentExperience with Windows based tools such as Visual Studio or similar environmentsExperience with LINUX C code development and compiler operationStrong Excel experienceExperience with formal requirements and developing software test cases and procedures.Excellent verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients and colleaguesExcellent interpersonal skills including working in team environmentsExperience with Lab environment and HW/SW debug with embedded control systemsExperience with Configuration systems such as RAZOR, Synergy, and GITHUBExperience with Requirements Tools such as DOORSExperience with Embedded processor tools such as VxWorks and Greenhills#LI-MM1 For more than 35 years, ENSCO Avionics has developed sophisticated airborne systems for the aerospace industry to meet DO-178C, DO-254, DO-278A, and military standards for manned and unmanned systems.
