This position will work in our
King Air/Turboprop
division. Elliott Aviation has been working on
King Airs
since they rolled off the line in 1964. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our expert technicians in all aspects of assigned aircraft projects; coordinate necessary resources, documentation, and communication with the appropriate personnel, including customers, to ensure timeliness and quality maintenance for delivery of the assigned aircraft projects.

Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
Provide expert level of advice and troubleshooting to technicians, customers, and other shops.
Main point of contact for designated Service teams for technical assistance and scheduling.
Works closely with Director of Maintenance Services and other Service personnel to develop, coordinate, standardize and implement new and existing procedures that promote continuous improvements in efficiency and quality.
Assists the Director of Maintenance Services in evaluating equipment and tooling needed for service work and troubleshooting.
Supports, maintains, and complies with all environmental, health and safety federal, OSHA, state, and local regulations
Provide OJT to junior technicians.
Work with Quality Control on all required documents for aircraft release and AD research.
Interact positively with customers and company personnel to foster a company-wide environment of teamwork.
Job Specific Requirements:
Licenses:
Airframe and Power plant Certificate required
Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements
FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
Must obtain & retain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue stamp)
Competencies:
Ability to manage a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor.
Ability to communicate well, in advanced/complex situation.
Organizational skills and attention to details
Project management & scheduling skills
Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
Possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to initiate improvements with in defined boundaries
