Profile

Avionics Integration Engineer
Provide Support to the Avionics Group in the areas of test facility and interface requirements.
The primary focus will be working with the various stakeholders to provide the necessary facility requirements to enable Avionics verification to be successful.
The secondary focus with be to assist with the integration of various avionic test components into the avionics lab environment.
This will include ensuring avionics boxes (real or simulated) work with the various test components and interfaces.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Coordinate with customer and stakeholders to collect Facility Requirements
Develop, revise and maintain Facility Requirements Document (FRD)
Work off standing Action Items against FRD and resolve TBDs/TBRs
Perform document reviews, adjudicate comments and collect Revision Change impacts
Perform Revision releases per process
Schedule and Project Management
Project Change Reviews and Impact Assessment
Review and approval of team documentation and products
Provide Basis of Estimate inputs and proposal review/feedback to management
Risk mitigation and opportunity identification
Conduct/Facilitate Facility Working Group meeting
Support Meetings as required
Develop metrics as required
Provide Integrated Master Schedule Updates
Support Avionics lab Coordination with stakeholders and customer
Help develop Requirements/Plans for test equipment interfaces to avionics boxes
Assist in resolution of test equipment interface issues with avionic boxes
Work with National Aeronautics and Space Administration/Marshall Space Flight Center (NASA/MSFC) customers, Customer responsible engineers/subsystems integrators, and Customer Test and Evaluation (CT&E) to develop and document electronic and electrical system functional test facility requirements, test setup drawings, and test configurations.
Document differences between the laboratory representations and the actual flight wire harnesses and avionics components.
