Aviation President Jobs description
Aviation president jobs are related to advising those in the junior management status about the requirements for aircraft and other equipment consistent with the company’s transportation needs and goals. The Aviation president prepares short- and long-range plans that include corporate and departmental objectives. They also develop departmental staff to realize their full potential and set performance expectations and conduct performance management evaluations in a timely manner. They establish and maintain records as required by manufacturers, and company policies. The Aviation president also has to ensure that the department personnel are thoroughly familiar and comply with company policies, and pertinent operating manuals, practices and publications. The Aviation president establishes programs for pilots and maintenance technicians, including proficiency reviews, initial training, recurrent training, and upgrade training.A graduate degree with 7 years management experience in aviation is required to be an aviation president. He/ She should possess strong leadership and management skills. The candidate should also hold an airline transport pilot (ATP) certificate with appropriate type ratings.
