Job Duties
Inspects Assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures
Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions.
Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks.
Maintains necessary documentation and records.
Monitors and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives.
May be required to perform other related duties as assign
Job Qualifications
Accredited HS Diploma or GED and a minimum of five years of inspection experience required in the manufacturing of aerospace components/assemblies
Ability to effectively interact/communicate with all disciplines
Working knowledge of Boeing Specifications & Blueprints preferred
Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Able to understand shop mathematics to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and Inspection procedures.
Ability to use inspection tools such as, scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, go no-go gauges, dial indicators, and split ball gauges
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a United States Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.
